At-Home Personal Training

What could be more convenient than training at your home or in the gym inside your apartment complex? As an at-home personal trainer, I will travel directly to your place (within boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan) and design a unique program that is specific to your goals and fitness level. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need an expensive gym membership to build a great physique or improve your health and fitness level. Your fitness journey can start at home.

Weight Loss and Nutrition

Weight loss is the most common goal people have when hiring personal trainers, and I totally get why. More and more people nowadays have sedentary jobs and, with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, people now enjoy the convenience of working remotely from their homes, reducing daily activity even further. Obesity rates in the US have been steadily growing for decades and are up over 10% in the past 15 years. Having to carry excess weight is also associated with a higher risk of developing metabolic conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes. But don’t panic, adjusting your nutrition and having a solid training plan designed specifically for your needs can work wonders in shedding those extra pounds you have been carrying.

Senior Training

It is no secret that as we get older our physical performance diminishes, our bones become more fragile, it becomes harder to keep balance and perform daily tasks that we used to do easily before. It all leads to increased risk of injury and decreased quality of life. This is why it’s important to keep being active at an older age and counteract the negative effects of aging. It is never too late to start training and vitalize your life.

Sport-Specific Training

Are you doing a sports activity and feeling you have been stuck in the same place for months or even years without improving? Without proper sport-specific training, it’s easy for your performance to go stale. To push their performance to the next level, many serious athletes hire performance coaches in addition to their technique coaches. During the course of my personal training career, I have worked with runners, tennis and volleyball players, cyclists and rock climbers to help them boost their performance, and can surely help you as well.

Boxing/Kickboxing/Muay Thai and Martial Art Conditioning

Combat martial arts are generally overlooked by people when it comes to fitness training and are often considered as more of a self-defense practice. However, martial arts training is arguably the most holistic fitness practice to this day, improving your mobility, stability, flexibility, balance, agility and cardiovascular health among other things. Having practiced various martial arts for almost 3 decades, I’m proficient at teaching Boxing/Kickboxing/Muay Thai at basic and intermediate level and can design fun and challenging conditioning sessions.
